Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to Brewster Elementary School!
Brewster School is an exciting educational environment for children in preschool through grade two. Brewster Elementary focuses on the “whole child” offering an instructional program that fosters the cognitive, communication, social, emotional and motor development of each child through a combination of nurturing yet challenging experiences. Brewster prepares students to meet the expectations and requirements of today's demanding curriculum.
Learning comes alive at Brewster as students actively participate in all learning experiences by collaborating and working with peers and staff to acquire new knowledge and skills. Brewster teachers use a variety of instructional strategies, current with best practices, when working with students. Instruction is differentiated to ensure that the needs of all students are met. The Core Ethical Values: responsibility, respect, honesty, kindness and courage are infused throughout the day. Students are given many leadership roles to promote independence. With these experiences your child will develop the skills necessary to become self-reliant, lifelong learners.
Our goal is to provide an excellent foundation for your child as he/she begins his/her educational journey. This goal can best be met when we work in partnership with you. There are numerous opportunities for you to become actively involved in your child’s education.
